"Haimke's Tour"
A Taste of Yestyear Breakfast and a Tour around Metula on Nice Winter Sabbaths
Haimke, third generation in Metula, is a special person. The tour which he offers to "Beit Shalom" guests on winter Sabbaths is colorful and fascinating.
The tour begins in "Beit Shalom" with a taste of yestyear breakfast that recreates the flavors of rustic Metula cuisine which were customary at the beginning of the former century. The cheese, the yogurt, the pickled fish, and jams offered in the meal are all the produce of Miriam and Haimke personal farm.
The tour begins with the history of Metula and continues to the lookout on the surroundings, including geographic and historical overview, observe the blossoming of the orchards (during the spring), and fruit picking in the farming community's orchardsat at the end of the spring. You can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Hatanur waterfall, look at the Nazarene Iris blossoming toward the end of the winter, which is a spectacular visit in this undeclared nature reserve of the beautiful iris located close to Metula.

Sing-along at "Bat Ha'ikar", Friday from 10:30 PM
In the founders' house where Esther Levit, who is known as "the mother of soldiers", grew up and was awarded Israel prize for the volunteering project to be praised, her sons established a high quality meat restaurant. On Sing-along evenings take place on Fridays in the old yard of the house; food and music from 10:30 PM into the night.

"Nahalat Ikarim" on weekends
Nahalat Ikarim is a farmers market established by Bez Family in an old yard in the main street in Metula. The yard offers stands of a variety of artists, ceramics, jewelry, clothes, second hand books, homemade products, such as homemade jams, liqueurs, olive oil, fruits of the season coming straight from the orchards. The exhibition of agricultural tools includes carts, carriages and plows.
