HOUSE RESTAURANT

The restaurant's building is a residential house built in the late 19th century, of the first settlers in Metula.
Haim, third generation in Metula, is the creative spirit in building and preservation. He built, planned and accurately renovated the original house that was here one hundred years ago. And Miriam is in-charge of the interior design. She planned, added unique furniture items and created the picture gallery on site.

Upon your entry to the house you will pass in the path of old trees which blend with balsam and cyclamen flowers found in the old and beautiful stone house garden creating isolated corners in its surrounding. The interior of the house will wrap you with an intimate ambiance combined with pleasant coolness of stone during the summer and romantic warmth of burning fireplace during the winter.

The restaurant menu is dairy, vegetarian, based on rustic dishes, customary cuisine of the first farmers in Metula.
You can enjoy fish meals, cheese and wine, farmers' soup and salads served with thick rustic breads or homemade rolls. The milk served with cappuccino is from the morning milking (when have you lately drank coffee with real crust?), and homemade cakes.
